About Me
I'm passionate about drawing, CSS, classical guitar, gaming, and reading. I always keep a rapidograph and a pair of chopsticks close at hand. You’ll often find me running, listening to Baroque or punk music, talking to plants, or cooking — usually with plenty of spice.
Before formally starting my design career, I attended Citrus College and Mt. San Antonio College, initially planning to major in history and later music. However, I pivoted and joined the U.S. Navy intended for Cryptologic Technician Interpretive (where I passed a very peculiar exam) but ultimately served as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) [story coming soon] aboard the USS Boxer (LHD-4). During my service I assisted in the deterrence and hunting of pirates near Africa - including the Captain Phillips rescue mission - supported the transport of troops through the Strait of Hormuz to the Middle East, rode an elephant in Thailand, snowboarded in the desert and helped with humanitarian missions in South America. I was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and honorably discharged as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) Petty Officer Third Class as a yellow shirt, with Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualifications.

Afterward, I attended the Art Institute of California-Los Angeles in Santa Monica, where I initially studied video game art and design, later shifting to graphic design under an inspiring group of creative teachers. I began my professional design journey at a startup, Oubly, near Venice Beach where I discovered a new level for my love of design. I've enjoyed the fast pace of the field ever since.

Now I try to design and build things that help people and businesses every day.
