About Me
I'm passionate about drawing, CSS, classical guitar, gaming, and reading. I always try and keep a rapidograph and chopsticks close at hand. You’ll often find me running, listening to Baroque or punk music, talking to plants, or cooking — usually with plenty of spice.
Before formally starting my design career, I attended Citrus College and Mt. San Antonio College, initially planning to major in history and later music. However, I pivoted and joined the U.S. Navy intended for Cryptologic Technician Interpretive (where I passed a very peculiar exam) but ultimately served as an Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) [story coming soon] aboard the USS Boxer (LHD-4). During my service I assisted in the deterrence and hunting of pirates near Africa - including the Captain Phillips rescue mission - supported the transport of troops through the Strait of Hormuz to the Middle East, rode an elephant in Thailand, snowboarded in the desert and helped with humanitarian missions in South America. I was awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and left as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) Petty Officer Third Class, as a yellow shirt, with Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualifications to pursue my dream of being in the arts and technology fields.

I then attended the Art Institute of California-Los Angeles in Santa Monica, starting with a focus on video game art and design before shifting to graphic design, inspired by a talented group of creative teachers. My professional design journey began at a startup called Oubly near Venice Beach, where I deepened my passion for design. I've embraced the fast-paced nature of the field ever since.

Now I design and build things that help people and businesses every day.
Someday I'd like to teach.
