ACTV8me
I had the wonderful opportunity to design and develop a variety of projects at ACTV8me, a martech startup in Beverly Hills. We worked with brands like AMC, Univision, and GSTV, among others. Iwas able to contribute to nearly every aspect — from Android and iOS apps to business materials, documentation, content assets, websites, and videos.

Audit and Organize
With the ACTV8me design team moving quickly on many fronts, it was challenging to keep up and organize beyond immediate tasks. I started documenting and updating our design assets and files as I worked, gradually unifying the design language. I applied the same approach to our tooling and file structure.
Corporate Website
The corporate site served as a business tool and a living style guide. Additionally, it housed numerous content and auxiliary web pages that I designed and developed for application support and marketing campaigns.
Home Page
We wanted to highlight ACTV8me's impressive partnership history, showcasing it prominently alongside key information about our technology solutions. The approach includeded a brief overview of the technology, examples of past use cases, and potential future applications.
About Page
The team was composed of very talented individuals, and the About page provided brief background information and links to their professional social media profiles. Including these details helps build credibility and offers opportunities for potential outreach.
Press Page
Partnering with numerous renowned brands and making significant technological advances, ACTV8me has generated substantial buzz. The press page highlights notable partnership milestones and links to press releases.
Partials (Components)
I created a set of reusable components using HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript. These components had their own structures, operated independently, and were imported only when needed. They included conditions, allowing them to adapt their visual form based on certain parameters like being on a certain page, etc.
Dashboard
The ACTV8me dashboard served as the core system for content management, trigger controls, and data visualization. It tracked user metrics throughout the entire user journey. I was tasked with redesigning the user experience and interface, aligning it with a new development approach updated based on user issues from the previous dashboard design.
Corporate Decks
Decks were important for the business team at ACTV8me, and they were used extensively. I designed many decks to support the product, helping secure trials and partnerships. These efforts led to even more decks, trials, and partnerships.
Partnership Decks
Occasionally, I was tasked with designing partnership decks for external distribution. This seemingly straightforward task became complicated when merging two distinct visual styles. After each design and distribution, I created style variables and mapped them to mitigate or prevent altogether the challenges I initially encountered.
Special Decks
Although the special decks looked quite different from the others, they were built on the same foundational principles. I particularly enjoyed designing these as they allowed me to test and refine my design patterns.
General Takeaway
I designed a style guide for both internal use and external distribution, decks, dashboards, icons, apps, and websites, gaining valuable skills and lessons. I also explored Angular and React, pushing my design and web development abilities while heavily integrating business strategy into how I prioritized my work. Focusing on how design fits within the organization, I began to anticipate and address needs proactively.
